Dear Sirs,
Complaint for Withholding of Pension Funds by Ex-Employer
I would like to complain about COMPANY (the “Company”). I was an ex-employee of the Company and have left employment on EXITDATE. My pension scheme with the Company which I did [not need to] make any contribution. The name of the trustee of the scheme is called TRUSTEE.
After my leaving employment, the Company has only paid me my leaving entitlements. However, as at to date, the Company has not yet transferred the remaining to my existing pension trustee which amounts to CURRENCYAMOUNT. I have sent several reminders by way of emails and have not received any reply. I have called up the Company many times but have not been able to get hold of anyone after leaving messages.
My existing trustee has also sent several written reminders to the Company to follow up for me but has never received any response from the Company. The first time I requested the Company to transfer the pension to my pension Trustee was REQUESTDATE and no update has been provided to me and to my pension trustee.
I enclose the following information for your handling:
1. my application for pension transfer form to the Company dated REQUESTDATE;
2. the chain of email chasers from me to the Company; and
3. my existing trustee’s letter to the Company.
As I understand, this process has taken exceptionally long for the Company to process the transfer. Since I have not received any reply from the Company despite repeated chasers, I would appreciate if you can please look into the matter and follow up for me. The following are my contact details:
