Re: Summons to Appear in COURT Court on DATE - Ref. no: NUMBER 

I am writing to request for AUTHORITY to respectfully withdraw the above Summons on COMPANY. My explanation for the failure to ACTION is as follow:

1. I have appointed a Certified Public Accountants Firm the “CPA Firm’), as the company secretary and have used the CPA Firm’s address, as the registered address of the company. 

2. The directors did make relevant enquiries on a periodic basis with the CPA Firm on business registration and tax filings for the Company in the past few years and were assured by the CPA Firm that everything has been taken care of.

3. The directors changed the registered address of the Company and were promptly issued with the summons afterwards. It was only then discovered that the CPA Firm made no filings for the Company with the Inland Revenue Department and the Company Registry.  The CPA Firm has withheld all business registrations and other filing documents from the Company upon receipts and the directors were not aware that the relevant filings have not been made.
