Dear Sir / Madam,

Complaint of Illegal Parking and Obstruction of Driveway by the Occupant of ADDRESS

I ACCOUNT_FIRST_NAME ACCOUNT_LAST_NAME, am the Occupant of ACCOUNT_ADDRESS_SINGLE_LINE (the "Property"). This letter is served wherin demand is made upon you, , to immediately cease and desist unauthorized parking and obstruction of the driveway outside ADDRESS. 

The occupant regularly enters and exits the Property through the driveway of the Property. On [DATE], [HE/SHE] attempted to drive through the gate to get onto the road but was obstructed by your parked [description of Car] with registration number LICENSEPLATE (the “Car”) which blocked half of the driveway. The Car was parked illegally on a meter parking space reserved for private vehicles and, further, was parked wholly outside the lines delineating the space. As you left The Car unattended from [START TIME] to [DRIVER'S ARRIVAL TIME], the Occupant had no choice but to attempt to drive through the limited exit space that remained. As a result, the Occupant car scratched against the column and suffered physical damages to the vehicle.

Under the laws of JURISDICTION_STATE, it is an offence if a person at any time parks outside of the driveway to one’s property. It is also an offence for a motor vehicle to project over a line delineating the parking space in which it is parked. Further, it is an offence for vehicles to be left in a dangerous position that threatens the safety of residents and their vehicles. Hence, we have lodged numerous complaints to the Police in relation to these traffic violations. 

The unauthorized parking by you constituted a nuisance.

[Your failure to apologize or recognize the implications of your actions upon arrival [DRIVER'S TIME OF ARRIVAL] after the incident is unacceptable given the severity of the obstruction and damage that resulted.]
