Health and Safety Policy
General Purpose
ACCOUNT_JOB_COMPANY (the “Company”) recognises employees as the Company’s most valuable assets and acknowledges their health and safety are of vital importance particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic where individuals are at most risk. The Company is committed to providing a healthy and safe working environment by reducing potential hazards, risks, and mitigating the spread of COVID-19 as long as reasonably practicable, for our employees. Our ultimate aim is to create a healthy and safe working environment that is risk-free and free from workplace injury.
The objectives of this policy are:
- To set out policies and procedures implemented by the Company in creating a healthy and safe working environment;
- To guide our employees take all reasonable steps to safeguard the safety and health of all employees in the company;
- To provide information to employees of any risks on the Company’s premises which they might be exposed to and infection risks in the workplace;
- To take all necessary precaution and measures to mitigate the spread of COVID-19; and
- To comply with all health and safety-related legislation enacted in the jurisdiction
This policy applies to all levels of employees who are currently under a fixed-term contract, permanent contract, part-time contract, interns, and casual workers. We expect our employees of all levels to comply, participate, and cooperate in their best endeavours. This policy is endorsed and fully supported by the Company and its senior management. The Company reserves all rights to amend the content of the policy at any time.
Arrangements and Procedures
Health and Safety Training
Health and safety training is an integral module of the Company’s training session and it will be planned and designed in the same manner as other compulsory modules. An induction training session will be held for every employee when their employment commences and an annual training session will be held for all employees. The content of the health and safety training module should be focused on:
- Ensuring all employees to have sufficient knowledge about the usage of safety facilities in the Company’s premises;
- Ensuring all employees to have sufficient knowledge of the key provisions of the relevant safety labour laws in the jurisdiction and this policy;
- Informing all employees about the preventative measures needed to maintain excellent hygiene and immunity against COVID-19;
- Ensuring all employees have sufficient knowledge regarding the potential risks and hazards that they might come across in the workplace;
- Ensuring that when a confirmed case of COVID-19 is encountered, frontline cleaning staff are comfortable with putting environmental disinfection procedures into action following disinfection guidelines; and
