THIS BOOK PUBLISHING AGREEMENT ("Agreement") is entered into on 29 April 2024

Between

(1)            PARTY_1_NAME whose principal place of business is at PARTY_1_ADDRESS_SINGLE_LINE (the "Author")

(2)            PARTY_2_NAME whose principal place of business is at PARTY_2_ADDRESS_SINGLE_LINE (the "Publisher")

Whereas

(a) The Author is creating an original literary work provisionally titled TITLEand brief particulars of which are set out in Schedule 1 ("Work").

(b) The Publisher wishes to publish the Work of the Author in the territory specified in Schedule 2 ("Territory").

It is agreed as follows:

1. Grant of License

1.1 The Author grants the publisher a worldwide exclusive right to:

(a) To publish, distribute, sell and otherwise make the Work available in the Territory.

(b) To license publication of a reprint edition(s) by other publishers; and

(c) To reproduce, and prepare any derivative works based on the Work

(d) the right to use Author’s name, likeness, and biographical information in association with Publisher’s activities undertaken in connection with this Agreement, including without limitation in the promotion, advertising, sales, and licensing of the Work

1.2 The parties hereto agree that all rights not expressly granted to the Publisher shall be wholly reserved by the Author

2. Delivery of the Manuscript

2.1 The Author agrees to deliver a copy of the manuscript of the Work in the LANGUAGE language, together with any necessary permissions and all photographs, illustrations, drawings (“Manuscript”) that are necessary to the completion of the Manuscript to the Publisher no later than DELIVERY_DATE.
