Dear Sir/Madam

We enclose our statement showing sales made on your account and commission and expenses payable. If you will confirm our figures we will credit you with the amount due.

These sales are most disappointing but this is due entirely to the late arrival of goods we ordered from you onMADEORDER. Not having received the goods by EXPECTATION, we faxed /e-mailed you but found on enquiry that the goods were not shipped until SHIPPINGDATE and consequently did not reach us until RECEIVEDATE. 

This delay in delivery is most unfortunate as the local agents of several of our competitors have been particularly active during the past few weeks and have taken a good deal of the trade that would normally have come our way had the goods been here. What is more disturbing is that these rival firms have now gained a good hold on the market which until now has been largely our own.
