Thank you for your letter. We are glad that you think a satisfactory market could be found for our goods but are not altogether happy at the prospect of transacting all our business on a credit basis.

To some extent, your offer to act in a del credere capacity meets our objectives, and for a trial period of TRIAL we are prepared to accept on the terms stated, namely an extra commission of CR. We make the condition, however, that you are willing either to provide a guarantor acceptable to us or to lodge adequate security with our bankers.
