Dear ,
Application for Admission - FIRST LAST
It is with great enthusiasm that [I am / we are] applying for admission for [my / our] [son / daughter], FIRST LAST, with your reputable school in YEAR.
FIRST is currently studying [Year] at KINDER kindergarten. FIRST enjoys almost all activities in the kindergarten. FIRST is well adored by [his / her] teachers and friends at the kindergarten. [His / Her] teacher told [me / us] that FIRST is a fast learner and is always very proactive in participating in activities. In particular, [he / she] [enjoys / excels] at [name and describe the activities your child most enjoyed / is good at].
Outside of the kindergarten, FIRST enjoys learning [list of extracurricular activities such as drawing, piano, ballet, dancing, violin, swimming, football etc.]. With respect to [instrument / sport], [he / she] has reached grade [x] and [his / her] teacher told us that [he / she] plays very well. [REPEAT FOR ACTIVITIES HE/SHE IS GOOD AT.]
[I / We] cannot agree more with the [founding principles / missions] of your school, [Name the principles / missions of the school]. Children are full of curiosity and FIRST is no exception. With the ever-changing world, simply memorising facts and regurgitating them in exams is no longer sufficient to prepare them for the future. Everything we learn today will likely to be out of date in the next 5-10 years, which is why the key skill set to develop at an early age is lifelong learning. It is of utmost important to maintain the interest and curiosity of the child in learning about new things. As Steve Jobs would put it - "stay hungry, stay foolish."
[I / We] have been encouraging FIRST to have an open mind and keep asking questions. It is important for our school to share the same philosophy with teachers having the patience in not putting off their curious little minds. [I / We] believe that SCHOOL has struck the right balance of instilling a learning discipline whilst encouraging continuous learning at the same time.
