Subject: Heavy Staff Turnover in [department / area / region]
Date: 22 December 2024
As discussed, I spent last week [with / in] [department / area / region] to investigate the recent staff turnover there.
I was able to conduct exit interviews with [number] staff who resigned during the past [number] weeks. Most of them are proud to be part of [Company], yet the overriding reason that they are resigning is [compensation / unhappiness with the boss / lack of work-life balance / bureaucracy within the company].
[COMPENSATION – Most of the staff who resigned claim that there will be a large increase in income in their new roles (at least [x]%). The compensation structure is also an important factor as the incentive schemes offered by other companies are based on sales volume which are more attractive as an inducement. It seems that we will need to urgently review our compensation policy to avoid further staff loss.]
[BOSS – Most of the staff has indicated that [BOSS] has instilled a toxic culture into the [department / office]. [BOSS] is unreasonably demanding and has certain “favourites” in the office. “Relationships” appear to be a lot more important than the actual work products. Many staff felt being unfairly treated and not properly rewarded in terms of reviews and compensations. We will need to urgently speak to [BOSS] to avoid more staff haemorrhage.]
