I am afraid your explanation is wholly unreasonable and illegal under the laws of JURISDICTION_STATE, for you as a seller to sell such a product to the public which is unfit for its purpose and fail to meet your sales description (both expressed and implied).

Neither had I as a customer been warned about the necessity to [PROVIDE UNREASONABLE EXPLANATION OF THE SUPPLIER] before the product became fit for use upon our purchase from you. 

I hereby demand a full refund of the purchase of [AMOUNT] from you, or you shall RESOLVE THE ISSUE within 7 days, namely on or before [Date]. Failing which, I will refer the matter to [Relevant Government Agency / Consumer Bureau / Customs and Excise Department] and will also take out a civil claim at the [Court / Small Claim Tribunal] against you without further notice.  

I reserve all rights as to costs, including but not exclusive to such costs of the products, costs arising from the claim, as well as costs for my loss and damages caused by your refusal and delay to my express demand.
