A Notice to Insurer which is to be filed when a Plaintiff commences proceedings against the Defendant. This is intended for Plaintiffs who were injured in the course of employment and intend to seek damages against two parties, namely the employer and the principal contractor.
The Insurer is to take notice that the Plaintiff has commenced action in the District against the Defendants for damages for personal injuries caused to the Plaintiff by reason of negligence and/ breach of statutory duties and/or breach of implied terms of the employment contract and/or breach of employer's duty of care under the Occupiers Liability Ordinance, Cap.314. Sealed copy of the Writ of Summons is also included with the document.
