Description:

Sponsorship Agreement where Sponsor has agreed to sponsor the Event and pays the sponsorship fee as a contribution to the cost in a fixed amount. This is drafted in favour of the Sponsor.

(A) The Event Holder is the proprietor and organiser of the Event (as hereinafter defined) and is empowered to grant rights and licences to sponsors of the Event.

(B) The Sponsor has agreed to sponsor the Event and to acquire from the Event Holder certain rights and licences in relation to the Event on the terms set out in this Agreement.

In consideration of the grant of the Sponsorship Rights the Sponsor undertakes to pay to the Event Holder the Sponsorship Fee.

The Sponsor shall exercise the Sponsorship Rights wholly in accordance with such rules and regulations of the Event as shall be notified in writing by the Event Holder to the Sponsor prior to the commencement of the Event, and in accordance with applicable media and domestic laws and regulations, and the published rules, guidelines and codes of practice of the media.

The Sponsor shall use all reasonable endeavours to publicise and promote the Event in such manner as shall have been previously agreed with the Event Holder and shall submit to the Event Holder samples of intended advertising and promotional material which it intends to use in relation to the rights granted.

The Sponsor undertakes to provide a prestigious perpetual trophy for the Event to be known as "the [NAME] Cup" to be held by the winner of the Event for one year and an annual replica for permanent retention by the winner.

The Sponsor shall supply to the Event Holder finished artwork relating to its name, logos and other identification for use in promotional material and advertising in relation to the Event.

The Sponsor hereby consents to the use by the Event Holder of the Company Logo in all advertising and promotional material in connection with the Event and warrants that it owns and/or is solely entitled to use the Company Logo and to authorise its use in connection with the Event.
